My story is one of rather unflattering beginnings. My journey started off with hopelessly baggy jeans and tops that were larger than life itself. Fortunately, I emerged from the chrysalis of indifferent adolescence and learned to spread my wings a little. Life blossomed and bloomed with me as I slowly morphed into a fashion and style aficionado.

Although my appearance had drastically altered in my late twenties, one thing never did nor will change: my determination to stay true to myself and reflect that truth in and through what I wear. Expressing that truth is what fundamentally inspired my pursuit of a career in fashion.

My career in the industry notably took off in 2019 when I was offered the platform by Lize Ehlers to style stage outfits for contestants of the RMB Song Night. Since, my role in the industry has typically pivoted around personal styling, styling for events and image consulting – with, of course, a particular enjoyment for relay styling.

I’ve very recently decided to take a colossal leap of faith in my career and undergo rebranding. At some junctures along the way, I’ve experienced bouts of fear and overwhelm, but those wane in comparison to the rewards that come with novelty, expansion and opportunity. You are your own brand, and as you grow as a person, your brand grows with you. If you are not ready to invest in that growth, then you should not expect results from what you are doing. Nothing comes from nothing.
